Fashion Cloud announces Digital Fashion Week – Summer Edition ’21

For the start of the buying season, Fashion Cloud will be hosting the Digital Fashion Week this summer for the third time. “After more than 7,000 visitors and a lot of positive reinforcement from the industry, we decided to let the Digital Fashion Week make the next round,” says Alies ter Kuile, co-founder of Fashion Cloud.

Over 7,000 industry representatives from more than 100 countries visited Digital Fashion Week in January 2021, compared to 5,000 visitors the previous time. Especially the technical changes to the platform, but also new features, such as new networking opportunities, have led to positive feedback from visitors and exhibitors. “Right after the Digital Fashion Week, we already had brands wanting to book their booths for the next edition”, Alies ter Kuile, co-founder of Fashion Cloud, says.

For these reasons, the company has decided to host another edition of the Digital Fashion Week. From 29.06.2021. – 01.07.2021, the event will open its digital doors. “For us, a digital trade fair can be seen as a complement to physical events for the best possible overview at the start of each buying season”, Alies ter Kuile continues.

The company has also drawn its learnings from the last edition and the many feedbacks. “Of course, we will make adjustments based on the visitors’ feedback and plan some new features. In addition, we will grow even more internationally after receiving a lot of feedback from visitors from Denmark, France and BENELUX in the last edition”, ter Kuile says. But the basic idea remains the same: a mainstage with high-profile keynotes and panel discussions, digital booths where brands present their collections, and networking opportunities to exchange ideas with other visitors.

Brands can apply for a booth on the website: www.fashion.cloud/digital-fashion-week. Retailers can also register on this website free of charge.
