FASHION CLOUD & Nyon join forces, what happens now?
FASHION CLOUD has welcomed a new addition to the family! By merging with the Dutch company Nyon we are taking the next step in the order process and are expanding our product range as well as our international presence. But how does this merger affect the customers, partners and members of FASHION CLOUD? In the following, you will find the most important Q&A’s concerning this merger.
1. WAS HAS HAPPENED?
It takes two: FASHION CLOUD & Nyon merge into one business that will continue under the name FASHION CLOUD.
2. WHAT MAKES NYON THE PERFECT PARTNER?
Vision: Similar to FASHION CLOUD, Nyon pursues the vision of a vibrant wholesale community in which all players work seamlessly together.
Competencies: Our expertise in stock and content at the POS fit perfectly with Nyon’s experience in fashion buying.
Product Range: By joining forces with Nyon, we will achieve our goals of strengthening the wholesale community through a cross-supplier and multi-retailer platform with a broad range of services much faster. Together with Nyon, we will be able to offer our users a platform that combines all important areas in one: pre-order, re-order and content exchange and thus the perfect all-in-one solution.
New Market: MBy joining forces with Nyon we will be able to expand our international reach and share our vision with a greater number of retailers and brands. With over 1.5 billion orders generated via their product OrderWriter and their strong relationships with associations in the Benelux region, Nyon is the perfect match for FASHION CLOUD.
Team: After the merger our team will have over 50 employees. Further, our teams do not only fit perfectly on an intellectual level – we also work well together on a personal level. On top of that, we share a similar corporate culture and pursue the same values. Can it get any better?
3. IMPLICATIONS FOR FASHION CLOUD?
Product Range Expansion: From now on, our platform will give you access to Content, Endless Aisle, Order as well as to the new products from Nyon. Thus, we will be able to offer our users an all-in-one solution for the order process through our platform – and much faster than we could have, since we can directly integrate a finished product which has already been validated on the market.
Market Expansion: The headquarter of FASHION CLOUD will remain in Hamburg but there will be a second office in the beautiful city of Amsterdam. With one foot in Germany and one in the Netherlands, we will be able to reach a larger number of retailers and brands and establish a stronger international presence in the long run.
4. IMPLICATIONS FOR USERS?
Product Expansion: As a FASHION CLOUD user you will only benefit from the merger and further have access to a wider range of products and services from us. There will be no change in terms of usage and accessibility of our current products. Starting November 2018, the OrderWriter App will be available for retailers in Germany. In addition, suppliers will be able to access Nyon’s product FashionExchange.
International Integration: Take advantage of the opportunity to cooperate more closely with retailers and brands across borders!
5. WHEN WILL THE CHANGES ENTER INTO FORCE?
