New product release by Fashion Cloud: Launch of the endless aisles

The endless aisle is the digital shelf extension of Fashion Cloud with which missing articles can be reordered directly on the sales floor if desired. Digital shelf extension is one of the hottest topics in the industry in recent months. Many experts regard the endless aisle as a central component of modern cooperation between industry and trade. From our point of view, the decisive argument for the endless shelf is the increase in service quality for the end customer.

The transparency of delivery availability paired with the possibility to directly reorder missing items via a smartphone or tablet, restores “equality of arms” with successful e-commerce formats from the point of view of many retailers. For this reason, Fashion Cloud has been working hard over the last few months on a cross-supplier industry solution. The endless aisle can be used via our Clara App, the free endless aisle app and participating merchandise management systems.The suppliers’ interest in the Fashion Cloud endless aisle is enormous.

Many brands are already part of the endless aisle and in the coming weeks and months numerous other brands (e.g. Betty Barclay Group, Marc Cain, Marc O’Polo) will also be available. Also numerous well-known dealers already work with the endless aisle and Clara, among them L+T (Osnabrück), Ramelow (Elmshorn), Leffers (Oldenburg), Reischmann (Ravensburg), CJ Schmidt (Husum) and many more.

The menu item “Endless aisle” can be found on our online platform with immediate effect. With just a few clicks, the retailer activates this function and can start ordering again after downloading the Clara App. We believe in the future of the wholesale community and are confident that the endless aisle will make an important contribution to its future viability.
